Have you ever wondered what cats do while their owners are at work and school? Many are secret agents! They hack into computers, spy on humans, and meet up with other cats to pass on secret messages. They're working to save the world from environmental catastrophe.

  • “Pawsitively purrfect! This feline adventure is filled with mischief and mayhem that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait to see what adventures Romulus has next!”

    - Dawn Harvey, Nova Scotia Middle School Educator

  • "If you are not fond of cats, you might be after reading this story. Humans are the clueless feeders and openers of doors in this somehow believable world of intrigue hidden underneath the placid scenes of sleeping felines. Romulus Donkwad is a classic hero whose journey to find a missing "whisker link" has all the elements of a rollicking good tale. Theresa MacLean's playful words and names often took me by surprise and made me laugh with joy”.

About the Author

Theresa Marie MacLean grew up in the small town of Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. This gave her the opportunity to develop her imagination. She and her siblings found entertainment playing in the backyards of the quaint town which became her inspiration. As an adult she has been able to hold on to the whimsical and quirky imagination of a child and uses this to create stories. Her first book, The Extraordinary Life of Romulus Donkwad was inspired by a dream detailing the secret life of her cat. She shares her Berwick home with her three cats and her husband.
